Vote No on Issue 2

Issue 2 seeks to further the corporatization of farming in Ohio, at the expense of the family farmer and entrepeneur, by seeking an amendment to the Ohio Constitution to create a corporate board named the Ohio Livestock Care Standards Board for the purpose of circumventing existing law for corporate benefit. I object because the Amendment, if passed, will require state bureaucrats to write hundreds, or even thousands of pages of regulations to fill in the details, and because I'll have to pay for lawyers and accountants, either directly or indirectly, to interpret and comply with this mess. I object because many of my farming choices will be dictated by an appointed "Board." I won't be able to elect or fire any of these people, and I do not want them in my life. I object because this Amendment costs too much, and because the fat cats are hiding the true cost in a variety of fraudulent ways. I object because this Amendment contains numerous Trojan Horses that will eventually kill free market farming along with the Amish in favor of complete government-by-the-rich control. I object because it is increasingly clear to me that I have no representatives on the Board.

Dear fellow farmers and other voters, please stop to consider that this Amendment will be imposed on me and you at the point of a policeman's gun. If I do not want to pay for it, or comply with it, armed men will eventually knock on my door to force me to submit. Do not do this to me!

You Passed It, Now I'm Seeking Your Vote to Undo It

The law passed no thanks to Terry Boose of Norwalk, so the Libertarian Party has asked me to put my name on the ballot in November for House District 58 in order to win the seat in Columbus. That way Libertarians can undo some of the damage we voters have allowed Republicans and Democrats to do for too long now. My campaign website is www.OhioWithoutDebt.com .
